Brilliant red color. A slight baking spice aroma at first, which then transitions into black cherry, tobacco and more baking spice. The tannins are soft and lively. The acid is well balanced, enough is there to have this wine age for 10+ years.
Located at the southern end of Napa Valley. Growing season is longer—cooler in summer and drier in winter. Marine influence from San Pablo Bay is strong here with foggy mornings and cool summer nights, creating a naturally long hang time for fruit.
Fermented in closed top tanks at a mild temperature with minimal intervention. Aged in 100% neutral French oak barrels for 16 months.
